| Children (ages 3 and up) My work with children may be on an individual basis through the use of play, puppetry, and art. I also see children in the context of their family. Issues may include such things as: school related problems, fears/anxiety, depression, defiant behavior, attention problems, family stress, and physical, sexual, and emotional abuse. |
Adults My work with adults may be individual, couples, or with several family members. Issues may include: nervousness, panic attacks, low self esteem, depression, sleep problems, relationship or marital conflicts, divorce, preoccupation with food and poor body image, drug and/or alcohol problems and physical, sexual, or emotional abuse. |
| Adolescents I see adolescents individually and in family sessions. Adolescents are often resistant to treatment and this is a part of the process. Issues may include such things as: mood changes, drug and alcohol problems, family conflicts, peer issues, and any history of abuse. |
Groups Group therapy enables children, adolescents, and adults to share their experiences and develop solutions together. Group topics may include: learning social skills, improving self esteem, sexual development, managing peer pressure, and healing from traumatic experiences. |
